Tomorrow, on April 7, “Prometey” will play in the Final Four of the Latvian-Estonian league Pafbet for the first time in its history. During two straight days, top four teams of the league, as for results of the regular season - “Prometey”, “Kalev/Cramo”, “VEF Riga” and “Tartu Ulikool Maks & Moorits”, which successfully overcame 1/4 finals, - will determine the winner and the medalists of the tournament.

The Final Four will be opened the first semi-final confrontation of “Prometey” and “Tartu Ulokool”. Following the results of the regular season, Ukrainian club got N1 seeding number and in the semi-final has a rival with the lowest number – N4.

In the LEBL quarterfinal, both teams defeated their rivals with a score of 2:1. “Prometey” turned out to be stronger than “Viimsi/Spportland” in the dramatic series; and “Tartu Ulikool” was stronger than Latvian “Ventspils”. The main feature of the series "Tartu Ulikool" - "Ventspils" was that the teams exchanged road victories in the first two matches, after which the next “Prometey” rival took advantage of its home arena in Tartu.

In the regular season, “red and white” confidently defeated Estonian club twice: 101:64 in Riga and 91:73 in Tartu. This fact alone says that “Prometey” is the favourite of the first semi-final pair. However, based on the course of events in the quarterfinal confrontation with “Viimsi/Sportland”, any predictions for tomorrow's match should be made with great caution.

For Ukrainian fans, the fact that one of the leaders of Estonian club is the bigman of Ukrainian National team Andrii Voinalovych is heating up the interest to the match. Andrii had a good season in his team entering the Top-10 of the LEBL shooters. In tomorrow’s match, the confrontation between the teams’centers - Ondrej Balvin and Tomas Pavelka is expected to be very interesting. Slovak bigman of "Tartu Ulikool" currently ranks second in the league in terms of rebounds.
