Tomorrow, on October 6, Prometey will play its first road match within Latvian-Estonian league Pafbet. The rival is Estonian club Keila Coolbet.

The club represents the city of Keila in the north-west of Estonia. For Prometey’s opponent, last year’s season was the debut one in the elite Estonian division KML and the LEBL. In the Latvian-Estonian league, Keila did not manage to make it to the playoffs, in the Estonian championship, at the quarterfinal stage, it lost to Tartu Ulikool 0:3.

Alike Prometey, Keila began the current season with a confrontation against Viimsi. Keila confidently beat its rival on the road – 90:72. American legionnarie of Keila Kevin Johnson gave a superb performance: 31 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 10 (!) steals and 47 points (!) of efficiency rating. The following matches Keila also played on the road but less rewarding: defeats from Parnu Sadam (66:83) and Riga Zelli (56:77).

Tomorrow’s match will be the first home one in this season for Keila. So, it is easy to assume that Prometey’s rival will be double motivated. The upcoming match might be also interesting for our fans since Keila colours are defended – and quite well (the best team’s player in blocked shots) – Ukrainian bigman Andrii Myronenko.
