“Prometey” will play its next match in the Latvian-Estonian league Pafbet on the road against Estonian club “Parnu Sadam”.

Tomorrow’s “Prometey” rival, which represents Parnu - the port city and main Estonian resort on the Baltic Sea, has a 17-year history. However, “Parnu Sadam” promoted to the leading roles in its country only in recent years. In the 2020/2021 season, “Parnu Sadam” came second in the regular championship and reached the final in the playoffs losing at that stage to the multi-year leader of Estonian basketball “Kalev/Cramo”.

“Parnu Sadam” did not stop there and, in the 2021/2022 season, became the best Estonian club eliminating “Kalev/Cramo” in the semi-final playoff series on the way to the title.

In this-year LEBL draw, “Prometey” rival has 5-3 balance and is sitting in 7th place. In the team roster, there are three strong by the LEBL standards legionnaires. 24-year-old guard Isaiah Rayshaud Hart, for instance, is in the top-ten best league shooters and its third assistant.

For “Prometey”, the upcoming match is important from both game and tournament point. If to talk about the first aspect, the “titans” need to keep improving some game components. As for the team’s tournament perspectives, Ronen Ginzburg’s squad is awaiting a confrontation with the league’s leader “Kalev/Cramo” next week. It is extremely important to approach this game having just one defeat, which is the case so far.
