Tomorrow, on January 24, “Prometey” plays a road match of the BKT EuroCup Round 16. In the capital of Serbia, Belgrad, the Israeli club “Hapoel Tel Aviv”, which is holding home matches there due to events in their home country, is hosting our team.

The upcoming match is of great importance for both teams. “Prometey” has not secured participating in the playoffs, so they will try to do everything possible in order to maintain the two-win handicap over Italian “Venice” before a head-to-head confrontation in Italy in a week.

The rival of our team is currently sitting in second place with 11-4 balance. It mostly target entering straight the quarterfinal stage. At the same time, the Israeli club feels the hot breath of two chasers at once - "London Lions" and "Joventut Badalona". In a week, "Hapoel" will have to visit Badalona, after which they will cap the regular season with another difficult road match - in Istanbul against the Turkish "Besiktas". 

In the first tour, “Prometey” defeated its tomorrow’s opponent with a score of 98:89. That match happened to be the best one in the current regular season for the “titans” in terms of game quality. Let’s hope, Ronen Ginzburg’s squad will “find a key” for our coach’s compatriots.
