Today, on March 26, in Slobozhanske All-Ukrainian tournament “Prometey” Cup among boys born in 2010 finished. The last match of Academy “Prometey” team, in which they played against the peers from SCYSShOR N5 (Dnipro), in fact was the final one. In the previous three matches, opponents did not suffer defeats, so the winner of today’s confrontation was going to be the winner of the main prize of the “Prometey” Cup.

The match started poorly for “Prometey” boys. During 6 starting minutes they missed an impressing opponent’s spurt 20:2 that, by and large, determined the result of the confrontation. The hosts were playing catch-up role all game along. At the start of the second quarter, they were inferior by 22 points twice. To the credit of our boys, they managed to improve their game, having demonstrated strong will. At the start of final ten-minute segment, “Prometey” was inferior by just 6 points. This jerk, most likely, exhausted young “Prometey” players too much and they did not manage to make an impressive comeback.

As a result, the team of SCYSShOR N5 became the winner of the tournament. The youth of Academy “Prometey” came second. CYSSh 12 (Zaporizhzhia) is in third place.
