We are glad to announce that a guard Rob Gray (03.04.1994, 185 cm, 82 kg) is another rookie of BC “Prometey”.
Rob was born in Forest City, North Carolina USA. The American guard studied at Howard and Houston colleges. Since 2019, he played in Europe in French clubs “Bourg”, “Metropolitans 92” and “Monaco”, he also played for Turkish “Tofas”.
As part of “Monaco”, Rob Gray was the EuroCup winner in the 2020/2021 season. In the tournament of that season, he averaged 17.2 points for his team. Rob Gray excellently performed in the semi-final and final EuroCup stages becoming their MVP! In the semi-final series against Spanish “Gran Canaria” (2-0), Gray scored 25 points in the first match of the series and was an aithor of the winning shot in the second one. Besides that, in this series, he shot from behind the arc with an incredible accuracy – 71.4% (!).
Following the results of the last season Turkish championship, Rob Gray, as part of “Tofas”, was in 7th place, after which his club lost in the semi-final series to “Fenerbahce”. He also participated in the Champions league. In 26 matches of the Turkish championship, Gray on average scored 17.9 points, gave 3.8 assists and pulled 3.7 rebounds. In the Champions league, “Prometey” newcomer averaged 21.0 points + 3.3 assists + 3.0 rebounds.
