Comment by the head coach of BC “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg after the win over “Hamburg Towers”:

- We played against a good team, yes, with a shorten roster, like us, but all along the season, our rival demonstrated that they are a really strong team. A great victory for us, a great victory for the club, for Ukraine. That’s unbelievable feeling. We have lost several players, but we demonstrated that other players got focused and did a great job. Yes, we were under pressure of the fact that this is the first EuroCup playoff game for the club, and we have a number of injured players, so we had some ups and downs during the game. It was very important to us because we were in shortage of players, but we have shone that the rest of the players can step in and do the job. Wonderful feeling as we were under a lot of pressure – you work all year long and lose the first game, it’s not good.

- How could you explain several unfortunate turnovers of your team, and in particular in the most tense moments of the game?

- We did not have our point-guards in the roster. The opponents played aggressively and we made mistakes. That is the part of the game. We will work on it. In addition, I hope Agada will come back and the number of turnovers will be reduced.

- Did you expect so mighty performance from Illia Sydorov?

- Of course. Everyone knows how I love him. He is a winner! He was injured this season, but he is the winner and that’s why he is in the team.
