Comment by the head coach of “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg the day before the EuroCup quarterfinals.

- Coach, “Promitheas” guard Anthony Cowan has become the MVP of the EuroCup 1/8 finals. He was recognised the MVP for the already third time within the last four rounds. What can you say about Anthony and “Promitheas” roster in general?

- First of all, Anthony is a really good player, he plays really well. But again, he is not the only one in “Promitheas”, they have ten good players in the team – guards, bigs, shooters… In a word, very good team.

- How should we play to win on Wednesday?

- We have to play, first of all, well in defence. That is not about offence. Mostly, defence, first of all. This is our weapon, thanks to which we can stop them.

- Now, our team is going through difficult times due to the injuries of the key players. However, for the 1/8 finals match, more fans came to passionatly support “Prometey”. Is that important to you? 

- Of course! It’s great! A lot of fans are coming. Also, we have some show during the game for them. Again, we played well and they cheered us loudly. So it’s nice and I hope, next season we will continue also, and the fans will come. It’s very good for the players and good for the club.
