“Prometey” head coach, Ronen Ginzburg gave a comment to the club’s press-service before the second friendly match of the team within preparation for the new season. On September 9, at 17:00, “Prometey” is playing a match against Lithuanian “Juventus”.

-I am not going to say anything about “Juventus”. I am concentrated on our team, building our game. As for opponents, we focus our attention on our opponents in the official tournaments – the Latvian-Estonian league, The EuroCup, we are scrutinising them. Control games are not about that – we are getting strongrer playing them.

Also Ronen Ginzburg has commented on the previous control match against Lithuanian “Siauliai” (87:74):

-As for the first game, I can be satisfied. Before that game, we had just seven training sessions. We played against the team which is about to start their championship. Undeniably, we have a lot to work on – both defence and offence. But as for the first game, we look pretty good.

In addition, we played without few players. Some of them played being injured. I mean Kulboka and Balvin. Yes, I can be satisfied but it means nothing so far as it is just the beginning.
