On October 4, basketball club Prometey is starting its second BKT EuroCup season. As a reminder, last season, EuroCup debutant surprised the entire basketball Europe, by entering straight away the Top-4 EuroCup teams.

In the Latvian-Estonian league, Prometey has started with a win over Viimsi and now, all coaching staff thoughts are concentrated on the next match – against German Hamburg. So, we asked our head coach Ronen Ginzburg to share his thoughts on the starting BKT EuroCup duel:

“We are happy to start in the EuroCup soon again. I am sure that despite all injuries we will be ready for the game. And I invite all our fans to come to “Arena Riga” on October 4 to see our game live. I firmly believe, that alike previous season, we can provide our fans with vibrant emotions.

With all confidence, I can say Hamburg is a great team with the same coach as last year, with the same game system; the team with the high expectations from the new season.

So, once again, we are looking forward to meeting our fans and will be very pleased to see them in the stands. We are also excited to know we are watched on TV and internet. Undeniably, our players play for you. And it is important for them to know you watch and support Prometey".
