Summary of the season by the head coach of BC “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg:

- Coach, what about the results of the season. Victory in the Latvian-Estonian league, the semi-final of the EuroCup. How satisfied are you with this result?

- You know, at the beginning of the game, out target was to take the Latvian-Estonian league and we made it. The next target was to make it to the playoffs of the EuroCup and we did it. We played well and we wanted to make more. It’s a pity about the loss in the game against “Turk Telekom”, but in the end I think it was a great season. As for me, we have achieved all our targets. I can be just satisfied with our performance. We made our name in Europe right now. We played in the second-ranked competition after the Euroleague. We belong to the top four best teams. It’s great. Just a little bit pity about the last game.

- You were very close to reach the final of the EuroCup. What was not enough to win against “Turk Telekom?

- First of all, if we are talking about the little things, when you lose game or you win game by one-two points, a lot of time it’s about little things. Here is a free throw, here is a mistake on defence, I think over all, we will never know the answer, but I think if Agada was 100% healthy and Kennedy and Lukashov played, we could win easily. We had a problem with short roster, especially in the "paint" against “Turk Telekom”. We played close to them and we had the option to win this game.

- And what about future plans. What are the team’s future plans?

- We want to continue developing as a team, as a club, as an organization. I am sure, we cannot keep all players for the next season. For some of them it’s from our side, for some of them it’s from their side. It’s normal when players played well and made a good season, they will have a lot of options. So, we will see. We will build a new team. And I believe that some will stay. And again we will have a good team and we want to make at least what we did this season.
