Comment by the head coach of BC “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg before the 7DAYS EuroCup game with BC “Reyer Venice”.

-Coach, my first question is about “Venice”. What can you say about this team?

-Like all clubs in this competition, it is a very good team. They have very strong defense, like Italian defense, really aggressive. They are at home, they have really strong bigman. Last year they also had a success in the group.

-Marco Spissu scored 6 out of 9 three-pointers to the Serbian hoop. Do you remember that day in Berlin at EuroBusket three months ago? After that game you played with Greek National team. Could you name Marco Spissu one of the leaders of “Venice”, and who are the leader of this team?

-I have known Marco since long time ago; I played as coach against him a lot. For sure, he is one of the leaders. He is a point guard, a really good scorer. We need to know how to stop him as it’s not easy. But, as I said, it’s a good team with 11 or 12 good players. They have Mitchell Watt, the bigman, very good player. Derek Willis, who plays on number four position. On every position they have good players, But for sure, Marco Spissu is an important player of Italian team.

-Whether all our players are healthy and ready to play?

-No. I think we have some problems. We will know a bit later today about Sydorov and one more player. We will see. Not all our players are ready.

-James Dickey already can play for “Prometey” in the EuroCup. What play do you expect from James?

-I don’t know if I can use him. For sure, the opponent is really strong inside, so we need to be with our best players over there.
