At the post-match press conference, the head coach of “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg commented on the win over “Joventut” in the EuroCup match.

-It was a big game for us. First of all, there was an incredible atmosphere. Even when we were losing “-13”, “-14”, our fans kept shouting and supporting us. I hope to see a full arena here for the next game as well.

We demonstrated our character. We did not give up. We made some changes in defence, came out with a small five, and it worked well today, I am glad. Yes, it is all about tactics, but in the end, you need the character of the players so that no one gives up. Neither the players on the court, nor the players on the bench. Even when you lose most of the game, you should never give up. We stopped them in the last quarter, allowed to score only nine points.

I think this is a great victory for the club, for Ukraine. We showed a thirst for victory.

The next EuroCup match is still a month away. We need to keep fit. Now there is a break for the National teams’ matches; many players will join their National teams. And we won't have much time to get ready. Today we gained confidence, however, another month is a long time.

But the atmosphere was great, the fans in the stands did not give up and transferred their feelings on to our players. Everyone gave 100%. But even in the first half - we played quite well, but they hit a lot of three-pointers, although they don't usually do that. But I am happy.
