A comment by the head coach of BC “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg after the match with “Bourg”,

-Coach, it was a tough game. You finally lost it. What made the difference between “Bourg” and your team?

-First of all, I think, they hit even tough shots but we missed those shots. So we came to the end of the game. Are you asking about that? Those were the reasons. Also, we missed a lot of shots from the lane. Overall, we came for the game with some players missed. Therefore, it was difficult to play for all 40 minutes. We played against a good team.

-You played a very tough road game on the equal footing against the leader of the tournament standings. Are you confident in the rest of the season in the EuroCup?

-If we had not had injuries, maybe we would have finished the game in another way. Yes, I am confident. We have a good team and I believe we will able to show this. We lost in overtime, and I don’t think it is a loss. For sure, we need to improve but we played pretty well.

Well, unfortunately, we lost at the end of the game, but we played with a short line-up, that’s why we had some problems, especially in defense. But we are gaining confidence, as these are our first games in the EuroCup, so I think, we played well.

-And to finish with, what do you think about the first two months of the tournament?

-I have quite mixed feelings. In one way, we have the result of today’s game, which we lost. For sure, we need to improve. We have a good team, we can play much better, that’s it. The league is very long and I believe, next time things will be much better for us.
