Comment by the head coach of BC “Prometey” Ronen Ginzburg after the defeat in the match against “Ogre”, which became the first one for the team in the current season of the Latvian-Estonian basketball league.

- Coach, what is happening with the team?

- I think, it is a shame to play like this. The problem is not in the loss itself, losses are happen with a lot of teams that play twice a week. But how we play in offence and defence is a disgrace. We are experiencing not the best period. The strongest team gets out from such situation, recovers in a way it has an opportunity.

- What did you tell players in the locker room?

- I do not need to tell them anything. I shouted at them in the long break. I guess, some players lost their confidence, but it cannot be an excuse, they have to play much better.

- How are you going to solve these problems?

- We have to solve them. We will see. Our problems are related a lot with mentality of the strongest club’s players. We are not the only team to have problems. We have not had problems for the previous three years. Now, it is time to face them.

- What would yu like to see from your players on Wednesday in the EuroCupgame against “Wolves”?

- On Wednesday, it will be different basketball, but of course if we come out with a better attitude. We have to be stronger, not like in the previous EuroCup game, which we started well but then did not react when the opponent started playing better. First of all, I would like to see the character. Not offence, but defence gives confidence.
