In the second match of the High league's bubble in Slobozhanske, “Prometey” played against the capital club “Self Made Basket”. Oleksandr Pashchenko’s team extended its winning streak in the championship, having won the match with a score of 111:77.

Today’s game was expected to be more difficult than the starting one for the “titans”. The debut of the confrontation proved those expectations. In the first five-minute segment, the club from Kyiv lost by just 5 points, having converted two three-point attempts out of three.

Afterwards, due to the air raid alert, the teams had to go to the locker rooms. The enforced pause lasted almost an hour and seemed to be useful for “Self Made”. There was just one possession between the teams but the response by “Prometey” was not long in coming – 9:0 spurt.

The final 10-point handicap of the “titans” after the first quarter was increased twice just within the next four minutes. The “red-and-white” completely held initiative and Mykhailo Bublyk put a spectacular end in the first half of the game with his buzzer – 57:33.

The third quarter turned out to be the first one won by “Self Made”, however, by and large it was obvious that “Prometey” is going to gain its 13th victory in the championship.

Everything came to a completely predictable end. For the second day in a row, Maksym Bezyma became the most productive player of our team – 23 points. The best “Prometey” assistant Ihor Klimov gave 10 assists to his teammates. Mykhailo Bublyk made 6 steals.

Tomorrow, at 15:00, “Prometey” plays the final match of the bubble against “Kharkivski Sokoly”.
