On September 3, at 18:00, the Ukrainian National basketball team will play their second match at EuroBasket 2022. The opponents are Estonians, who fought like a lion against the Italian team yesterday. According to official information, three thousand Estonian citizens came to Milan to support their favourites. However, in the sportshall it seemed that there were much more of them, at least they were much louder than the hosts, Italians. So, at 6:00 p.m., the Ukrainian National team will be under pressure not only in terms of the result, but also in terms of the stands.

Previously, the National teams of Ukraine and Estonia played against each other three times. At EuroBasket 2015 was a very memorable for Ukrainian fans match, where we unexpectedly conceded to the Estonians, who were just pushed forward by significantly more than three thousand fans, because that European championship was held in neighboring Latvia, namely at Arena Riga, where, by the way this season "Prometey" will play their home matches of the EuroCup. However, in the selection for EuroBasket 2009, Ukraine twice defeated Estonia, although, of course, these were completely different teams, and today's National teams those times just came to the basketball sections.

So, yesterday the Estonians lost to the Italians - 62:83. Of course, they understand that Ukraine is their main competitor for the advance to playoffs. Therefore, they will try to rehabilitate themselves in front of thousands of their fans. So, it will be difficult match for our National team. However, we believe in our boys and we wish them a successful game and victory!
