“Prometey” has started a mini-bubble in Slobozhanske with a match against “Politechnic” Kharkiv. Oleksandr Pashchenko’s team gained another victory with a score of 92:64. This is the seventh straight win since the season start.
The club from Kharkiv was able to offer a decent resistance to the “titans” only in certain segments of the match. The “red-and-white” constantly led in score, however, more or less comfortable handicap was created at the end of the ten-minute segment.
In the second quarter, their handicap reached “20+”. In this segment, it was worth noting reliable actions of Oleksander Pashchenko’s squad in defense. They allowed the rival to score just 11 points in this segment. They also were much better than their opponent in shooting, rebounding (24 rebounds against 17) and team interactions (12 assists against 6).
To the honour of the team from Kharkiv, they tried to impose the “titans” a competitive fight all through the game and looked decent in each of two quarters of the second half. But “Politechnic” did not manage to change the flow of the game drastically.
In the roster of our team, Denys Klevzunyk and Ihor Klimov were the most productive players. They scored 14 points each, in addition, Ihor added 9 aassists in his asset. Mykyta Bezyma made double-double – 12 points + 12 rebounds.
