Within this stage, young “Prometey” players managed to get a convincing victory over KF CYSS N2-12 (Oleksandriia) with a score of 137:26. However, they were inferior to “Cherkaski mavpy – 12” (60:64) and CCYSS N1-12 (Cherkasy) (79:91).

This result allows “Prometey” to enter the next stage, where 16 teams will participate, from the third place. A that stage, two best teams from four groups will be advanced further.

"Two games against Cherkasy happened to be the tense ones; we were roughly on the same level with our opponents. During the first and second games, our boys showed a decent play, but they slacked at the end of the matches and two games were lost in the last minutes.

The third game was against the team from Oleksandria, our young “Prometey” players were much stronger, so there were no problems in this match, which was underlined by the overall score of the match," the head coach Vladyslav Melnyk comments the team's performance in Cherkasy.
