Due to the absence of the vast majority of legionnaires in Ukraine this week due to the threat of Russian aggression, the Basketball Federation of Ukraine has decided to postpone one of the main basketball events of the season - the 2022 All-Star Game.
The 2022 Stars match was scheduled for February 19 at the Sports Palace in Kyiv in the format of Ukraine-Legion. However, due to objective reasons related to the temporary departure of a large number of Ukrainian legionnaires, it is impossible to hold the event at a proper high level on February 19. The new date of the 2022 Star Match is April 10.
It will be recalled that 7 Prometey players got the right to take part in the star event at once: Illia Sydorov, Viacheslav Petrov, Oleksandr Lypovyy, Denys Lukashov - Ukraine; DJ Stephens, DJ Kennedy, D'Angelo Harrison - Legion. The team of legionnaires together with the Latvian specialist Igors Miglinieks will be headed by the head coach of "Prometey" Ronen Ginzburg.
As part of the All-Star Game, Denys Lukashov will take part in a three-point throw competition, and DJ Stephens will take part in a dunk competition.
