Three "Prometey" players are preparing for the European Championship as part of the U20 National team of Ukraine

Три гравці “Прометея” у складі збірної України U20 готуються до чемпіонату Європи

The men’s National basketball team of Ukraine U20 is holding a training gathering before playing at the Europe Championship (Division B), the official FBU website informs.

The gathering is being held under the leadership of the head coach Dmytro Zabirchenko in Lithuanian city of Joniskis, where the team got together on June 5 and will complete preparations for the European Championship on July 5.

At the moment, 16 players work at the training camp, three of them represents BC “Prometey” – Mykhailo Bublyk, Maksym Bezyma, Dmytro Trykolenko.

Today, on June 12, the National team of Ukraine plays one of three planned control matches, in which it opposes the youth National team of Latvia.

In the Division B, the European Championship will take place between July 7 and 16 in Skopje, Macedonia. The rivals of Ukrainian National team at the group stage are Sweden, Georgia, Kosovo and Azerbaijan.
