At the end of August, the men's National team of Ukraine will play first matches of the second group round of qualification for the 2023 World Cup, where they will oppose the teams of Italy and Iceland.

After these matches, the wards of Ainars Bagatskis will start the long-awaited EuroBasket 2022 on September 2. Let us remind that our team is in group C in the final part of the European championship and will play in Milan, Italy, where the rivals of our National team will be Great Britain, Estonia, Italy, Greece and Croatia.

The coaching staff of the National team decided on a training plan for the National team. It is reported on the website of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine. Work will resume on July 28 in Riga, where the team will meet for the first stage of training. The opponents of the Ukrainian National team for the control matches will be announced soon.
