
The opponent of the Ukrainian National team in the 1/8 finals of EuroBasket-2022 became known.
After all the matches of the game day finished, it was determined that Ukraine ended up in second position in the standings of group C and in the first match of the playoff will play against the team of Poland, which took the third position in group D.
The Poles won three of five matches in the group stage, beating the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Israel, but losing to Finland and Serbia, who are higher now in the standings.
Based on the results of the matches played in the EuroBasket group stage, all pairs of the 1/8 finals and the subsequent tournament grid were formed.
On Friday, September 9, is a rest day at the European Championship for teams and fans to travel to Berlin, where the decisive part of the tournament will be played. The matches of the 1/8 finals will take plce at Arena Berlin on September 10 and 11.
The game between Ukraine and Poland will be held in Berlin on September 11. The game starts at 13:00 Kyiv time.
