Today, on August 13, the men's National team of Ukraine will play their third control match at the preparatory tournament in Istanbul. The team of Ainars Bagatskis will oppose the current champion of Europe — the National team of Slovenia. The match starts at 20:00.

Our team has already played two matches in the capital of Turkey, where they lost to the hosts of the tournament and confidently defeated the Polish National team. A day earlier, Slovenians defeated Turks in overtime (104:103), and before that they won control matches in the Netherlands (83:76) and Montenegro (70:52). It should be noted that Slovenians came to Istanbul with the strongest squad, in particular, star defenders Luka Doncic and Goran Dragic are expected to take part in the match.

As a reminder, Slovenia will play in Cologne in the group round of EuroBasket, where it will face Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
