Viacheslav Bobrov: "We are working on our individual actions and focusing on how to play better defence"

Бообров

Before the match against “Paris”, “Prometey” player Viacheslav Bobrov gave a comment to the club press service:

?What are the team’s feelings after being defeated by “Kalev”?

- We came this morning to the gym to work out there. Later, we started working on individual actions on the court. Now, we are focused on that we must start acting better in defence as, in the last game, we allowed opponents to pull 15 rebounds in offensives. So, we are currently concentrated on defence.

We know “Paris” is a top-team. Thus we have to be concentrated at maximum, we will continue working on this.

?It will be the 4th game within 9 days, moreover, three of which were the road ones. How do you feel physically, is there any fatigue?

- I don’t think there is some fatigue. We are in a good condition. On Sundays, we work out at the gym; we are in perfect condition. Maybe it is a little hard “in our heads”, as still we had four games within nine days. But this one is not the first such game for us, not the first time when we play many games within a few days. So, we are going to adjust for fight.

?You played in France, you are familiar with French basketball. What can you say about “Paris”, our next rival?

- Very fast mobile team. The coach wants to play only fast basketball. There will be a lot of fans who will push the team ahead. However, I think our fans also will be there to support us. Therefore it is going to be a great challenge for us. We have to prove we are the worthy team to play in the EuroCup, to play against very ambitious teams. As our coach told us, we should start from the first seconds to show our character and thirst for victory.

?How important is it to you that Ukrainians, who are currently in France, come to root for you?

- This is a very important thing since huge amount of people are far from Ukraine and it might be a great message for all Ukrainians - to come and support Ukrainian team “Prometey”. It is like a small gift for them – to see Ukrainians, Ukrainian players and our legionnaires, who play for Ukraine.
