On October 4 at 19:00, on the court of Arena Riga, basketball club Prometey starts a new journey in one of the most prestigious Europe tournaments.

The semi-finalist of the previous season EuroCup will host its ex-opponent in the 1/8 finals – BC Hamburg.

Riga’s locals – both Latvians and Ukrainians who currently live in Latvia – remember how eye-catching events the games of Prometey were last season. And during future matches, we assure that you will have even much more unforgettable atmosphere in the stands.

General Manager of the club, Dmytro Paliichuk, shared more details about what Prometey is preparing for the first EuroCup game:

“Matches of BC Prometey are always vivid emotions! And before the beginning of the season, the club has also prepared wonderful gifts for our most loyal fans. So, as well as basketball, you await raffles of different valuable prizes (IPhone 14, IPad 11Pro, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, three balls and branded Prometey jerseys), there also will be performances of the Olympic cheerleading team Red Foxes, who we all admired last season. But the girls definitely have prepared new dances. In addition to that, a kids’ zone with trampolines and animators will work near the court.

And after the match, we have planned an autograph session, during which anyone will have an opportunity to take the autograph of their favourite basketball player.

Beautiful Latvia cordially hosted Prometey a year ago and Arena Riga became a home court for us, where the club has reached the highest results in its history. Showing a breathtaking basketball along with that, our club made spectators to fall for us.
