Ukrainian men’s National team has played its first control match within preparation for the Olympic-2024 pre-qualification. In Lithuanian city of Panevezys, our team opposed to the three-time European champions, Worls Cup and Olympic medallists, Lithuanian National team. The hosts of the court have defeated Ukrainians with a score of 100:72.

“Prometey” bigmen Andrii Voinalovych and Viacheslav Petrov, who nappeared in the starting five, participated in the confrontation. Andrii has played for almost 19 minutes and scored 7 points + 4 rebounds + 1 steal. Viacheslav Petrov’s statistics was as follows: 25 minutes, 3 points + 4 rebounds + 1 assists + 2 steals.

Already on Monday, July 31, Ukrainian National team will play the next control match. In the Olympic Centre of Riga, the capital of Latvia, they will play against the National team of Sweden.
