Men’s Ukrainian National team has played its third control match within preparation for the Olympic-2024 pre-qualification games. At the Olympic centre in Riga, the capital of Latvia, it defeated the National team of Israel with a score of 75:69.

“Prometey” players Andrii Voinalovych and Viacheslav Petrov participated in the match. They both appeared in the starting five of Ukrainian team and made a weighty contribution to the victory. Andrii played 26 minutes and scored 5 points + 5 rebounds + 1 assist + 1 blocked shot. The statistics of Viacheslav Petrov is as follows: 21 minutes played, 9 points (3 long range hits out of 6) + 2 rebounds + 1 steal.

The last control match before the pre-qualification, Ukrainian team will play behind closed doors on August 7, also in Riga. The rival is the National team of the Netherlands.
