The founder of BC “Prometey” Volodymyr Dubynskyi has listed the players who can participate in a friendly match against BC “Siauliai”.

“Morning practice has just finished and we can tell about the roster for today.

Caleb Agada, Ivan Tkachenko, Viacheslav Petrov, Ronald March and Ondrej Balvin will not participate in the evening competitions.

It is projected that Tkachenko will be able to practice roughly in 10 days. We rely on Agada in the near future. Petrov needs longer time to recover. Ronald March got not a major injury and we made a decision to spare him for a while. Ondrej Balvin, who has some problems after he was injured in China, is also on hold, but Neno will make a decision about him closer to the game.

Rehabilitation of our captain Denys Lukashov is still going on.

Along with that, I am happy to announce news, that intrigued our fans who was following the events in the team. Today, we will see on the floor a small forward Oleksandr Belikov. Sasha will defend the colours of our club again.

For the first time, we started working with this player before the 2020/2021 season started, and this season became a championship for one of the best swingmen in our country. In September 2021, Oleksandr Belikov along with “Prometey” won the SuperCup of Ukraine. Before that, Sashko twice became the gold medallist as a member of “Khimik” Yuzhne. After the full-scale invasion started, we parted our ways with this player for a while, but Oleksandr is with us again.

As for another Ukrainian player, who our fans could see at our trainings, Viacheslav Bobrov just practising with our team and preparing for the season. Since we did not have ten players, who were allowed for contact workout, we invited Slava, who is also currently in Riga. All other players are ready for the game!

So, what are Neno's expectations today? To get more information for the coaching staff to work with further. Today is the first friendly game and the first test for the team, a real test of interactions that the team is working on at the training sessions. No doubts, it will be an interesting match!
