The founder of Prometey Volodymyur Dubynskyi has explained the reason for the team’s head coach Ronen Ginzburg absence at the road match against Keila.

“Friends, I have received a lot of messages with questions about the reason for the absence of the coach Neno at the yesterday's game in Estonia.

As for yesterday, everything was fine, our Neno set off to Israel for his son’s wedding and he should have joined the team already on Tuesday in Turkey. But today we all found out about horrible events happened in this country, about the dreadful missile shelling committed by Palestinian organisation Hamas. Thousands of rockets have fallen upon Israeli territory.

Fortunately, our Neno phoned in the morning. He is fine, he was in the bomb shelter. But at the moment, the roads are blocked, airports are closed, there are disruptions with the internet connection.

Our coach is in a normal humour. Unfortunately, such awful events happen in Israel not for the first time, but we are together, hang in there and understand everything what Israeli people feel.

All our thoughts and hearts are with Neno and all Israeli people.

Let’s hang in, we are in touch with Neno and will inform about the state of events”,-wrote Volodymyr Dubynskyi on his Facebook page.
