The star of the Latvian National team at the last World Cup, 23-year-old guard Arturs Zagars, (12.4 points and 7.2 assists in 8 tournament matches) has signed a contract with the Euroleague representative Turkish Fenerbahce. At the same time, in the upcoming 2023/2024 season, Zagars will play for the Prometey’s rival in the BKT EuroCup, Vilnius Wolves from Lithuania on the rental basis.
This was announced by Lithuanian club on its official pages on social networks.
Prometey and Wolves Vilnius will play against each other on October 8 of the current year and on January 17, 2024. The first confrontation will be held in Vilnius.
