Youth of "Prometey" lost in a control match to the main roster of "Ogre"

The youth team of “Prometey” finished the second tense game week with the third within four days sparring. For the first time in this season, Oleksandr Pashchenko’s wards opposed more experienced team – the LEBL team BC “Ogre” (currently in 8th place) with two legionnaires from the USA and Canada in the roster.

It was not easy with this team for the main roster of “Prometey”, who in a road match won by 7 points. Today, it was a match of very similar opponents. In the first half of the game, there was an equal fighting on the court. Both opponents were successful in the high-speed actions with high percentage of three-point shots. In each of two first quarters, “Ogre” won just by one possession.

For the last break, the teams went with “+8” in favour of Latvian club. In the beginning of the final quarter, “Prometey” reduced its lag to three points, but “Ogre” was stronger. The youth of “Prometey” suffered the first defeat in the season with a score of 68:81.
