Young basketball players of BC “Prometey” are starting in the European youth basketball league (EYBL).

In Ukraine, EYBL is also called the youth Euroleague. Competitions are held in several age categories starting from U13 (“Prometey” participates in the tournament of the oldest ones). During the EYBL being held, a number of Ukrainian youth teams participated in it. Even now, during the war in Ukraine, in the EYBL, in particular, compete “Akuly” from Kyiv by the coach Yeugen Podorvanyi and the girls’ team “MOBI” by Maria Dubas.

The nearest tour of the competition will take place on December 15-17 in Riga. Our guys will play 5 games within 3 days.

As a reminder, our youth is practising under the heading of Oleksandr Pashchenko. Vadym Matiukevych and fitness coach Oleksandr Medvid are also in the coaching staff.
