Prometey played its first road match less than 48 hours after the EuroCup clash with German Hamburg Towers. Only this fact alone evidenced that in today’s match in Keila against the team of the same name, those who did not have main game exertion on Wednesday, would see most of the game minutes. And the other way round, some players simply will be given more rest by the coaching staff. American bigman Rashard Kelly’s debut looked very likely to happen in the line-up of our team.

Rashard appeared on the floor in fifth minute (looking ahead, it should be noted that to make double-double, he lacked just 1 point and 1 rebound) when both teams were struggling to enter to the game. First point was scored in second minute when Ondrej Balvin fired only second foul throw. At the equator of the starting quarter, opponents together scored only 10 points (7:3 in favour of Prometey) having at that an extremely low percentage of hits from the game. However, in this component and in general, Prometey looked better then the opponent. Our team, making great efforts, finisher the quarter with 16:11 in own favour.

After the first break, Keila exerted quite decent resistance, but before the first half of the game ended, thanks to great performance of Oleksandr Lypovyy, Illia Sydorov and Viacheslav Bobrov, Prometey made a considerable run 15:5.

After the long break, Keila stepped up (12:4 in its favour after three minutes of the third quarter) and brought back intrigue to the match. Estonian club won the third ten-minute segment, but still Prometey was the main contender for victory in the match – 60:51 in favour of “titans”.

In the final quarter, Prometey completely controlled the game and confidently drove it to the winning end – 89:74. As for now, our team has three days to get prepared for the important BKT EuroCup road confrontation with Turkish Besiktas.
