The first round of the BKT EuroCup playoffs has opened with a confrontation in the city of Ulm in Germany between the local club “Ratiopharm Ulm” and “Joventut” Spain. The Spanish club gained a road victory with a score of 88:79 and now, in the quarterfinal of the tournament, on the road again, they will play against “Paris Basketball”. As a reminder, “Joventut” twice lost to “Paris” at the group stage of the tournament and both times by 7 points.

“Joventut” played the first half of the game mightily setting a handicap of 18 points. The other way round, “Ratiopharm Ulm” won the second half, although was not able to catch up with the rival. Andres Feliz, a guard of “Joventut Badalona” and the National team of the Dominican Republic, gave an excellent performance – 28 points + 6 rebounds + 6 assists and 36 points efficiency rating.

Today, on March 6, another three matches of the 1/8 final take place: “Prometey” – “Aris”, “London Lions – “Turk Telekom” and “Gran Canaria” – “Beshiktash”.
