“Prometey” played its another match within Latvian-Estonian league on the road against “Ogre”. Today’s “Prometey” rival is not among the best clubs of the league, however only this club and “Kalev/Cramo” managed to upset the Ukrainian club this season.

There was no doubt that Ronen Ginzburg's team were confused a lot by that failure and today they had to do everything possible to take revenge on their opponent. So, the visiting team gave a mighty start of the match: 11:3 run, which was created in the first three and a half minutes.

Instead, the hosts managed to give a quick and decent answer, tying the score back in the first quarter. Andris Misters who scored three times from the perimeter with 60% accuracy within the first 10 minutes gave the necessary energy to the partners.

However, "Prometey" won the first quarter. In the second ten-minute segment, the opponents took turns in leading, and then, as well as at the beginning of the match, “Prometey” caught the hold of initiative. Initially, the “titans” successfully involved Ondrej Balvin in the opponents’ three-second zone and then DJ Kennedy found his mid-range shots.

However, "Ogre" managed to keep intrigue in the confrontation for quite a long time. In the middle of the third quarter, the handicap of the “titans” reached 14 points. Our team had a great percentage of two-point shots in this part of the game – 75. However, before the last break, the hosts of the floor did not let them break away to a critical distance.

In the middle of the final quarter, "Prometey" managed to get back to "+14", and probably at that moment it became clear that our team would take revenge on the opponent and gain an overall 20th win in the regular season. At the same time, both centers of our team, Tai Odiase and Ondrej Balvin, scored more than 20 points each. Odiase has a double-double (22 points and 10 rebounds). 12 rebounds by DJ Kennedy also worth noting.

Already in two days, “Prometey” is waiting for another confrontation. At the home arena of the Olympic centre Rimi, our team will host “Valmiera”.
