Today, on April 3, "Prometey" on the road gained the second win in the quarterfinal playoff series of the Latvian-Estonian league against "Ogre". The "titans" won with a score of 90:82 and became the semi-finalists of the tournament.
The game happened to be very difficult, because Ronen Ginzburg's team, despite having the advantage throughout the game, did not have a significant handicap. The teams went for the long break with an advantage of "+5" in favour of "Prometey", and "Ogre" took the third quarter. In the final 10-minute segment, the "titans" finally managed to break the pressure of the opponent and bring the match to the victory.
Ondrej Balvin was the most effective basketball player of the match. He scored 16 points, pulled eight rebounds and gave three assists.
Thus, "Prometey" won the series against "Ogre" with a score of 2:0 and advanced to the tournament semi-finals where they will play against “VEF Riga”. The club from the capital of Latvia defeated Rigas Zelli in its quarter-final series.
