The first day of competitions among kids born in 2012-2013 finished in Slobozhanske. Teams from Poltava, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia came to visit Prometey.

Ruslan Orishchuk’s squad opened the tournament with a match against CYSS “Olimpiiski Nadii” from Poltava.

The teams took turns having initiative and advantage in score. The destiny of the game was deciding in the final quarter, as up to that time there was a tie in the game – 26:26. But during the last ten-minute-segment the players from Poltava were more aggressive and managed to win – 30:37.

The second confrontation Prometey youth played against their peers from Zaporizhzhia. This time, the hosts of the tournament worked better in defence and successfully played in offence – 53:25.

Tomorrow, “red-and-white” will hold a decisive game against CCYSS-1 from Sumy. The game starts at 8:30.
